what is cbd vape juice

How long does it take for CBD vapes to take effect?

This is not a straightforward question to answer as everybody absorbs CBD into the body at different rates. There are numerous different factors at play here which will affect the rate of absorption (known as bioavailability).

The weight of the user and the dosage, strength and quality of the product all have an impact on bioavailability. As vaping goes straight into the bloodstream via the lungs, it’s effects can usually be felt much more quickly than by oral drops or topical creams. Therefore, people can usually feel the effects of CBD within a matter of minutes.

What is CBD vape juice?

CBD vape juices are the most effective way of absorbing CBD into the body. They are simply a CBD-containing e-liquid that can be vaped, in much the same way that people vape nicotine.

Our liquids consist of a Propylene glycol (PG) and Glycerin (VG) base, which we then add CBD to, along with our high quality flavourings, to produce a great tasting, highly effective product.

How does vaping work?

Vaping works by heating an e-liquid/vape juice enough for it to be aerosolized so that the user can inhale the vapour.

The devices or vape pens/kits contain a coil that will heat the liquid to approx. 200°C - 250°C. The liquid itself is usually composed of Propylene glycol (PG), Glycerin (VG), CBD and flavourings.

Is Vaping Safe?

It is important to understand that vaping is still a fairly new phenomenon, and the industry is still in its infancy. However, it is well understood that when compared to smoking cigarettes, vape products produce far less of the harmful chemicals usually present in cigarettes.

Following an independent review, Public Health England concluded that” e-cigarettes are around 95% less harmful than tobacco (cigarettes)”. Vape products are seen as a reduced risk alternative for smokers and we would not encourage non-smokers to take up vaping.

How does vaping CBD make you feel?

Vaping is an incredibly quick and efficient way to feel the effects of CBD. Users report feelings of calmness and relaxation. However, it is also important to understand that due to the lack of THC, these products do not make the user feel ‘high’.

Our CBD e-liquids are formulated with an 80:20 PG/VG ratio. This allows us to strike the perfect balance between CBD delivery and a great tasting vape juice. The 80:20 PG/VG ratio is also best suited to low power devices (below 15w) such as pod devices and vape pens.

Levels of THC on our CBD vape juices

Our Ultra strength (1,000mg) CBD vape juice has been independently tested at an accredited laboratory with non-detectable THC. So you can ensure our CBD Vape Juices are not only safe, but they also deliver the CBD you need.

How long does CBD Vape Juice last in the body?

The way you choose to consume CBD can affect how long it lasts and how long it takes to start working. This is because different CBD products deliver the compound to your body in completely different ways.

CBD Vape Juice can stay in your system for up to five days. If you vape CBD, the traces will be found in your saliva for up to 72 hours. But if you ingest it orally, it can be detected in your urine for up to five days.

How long will a bottle of CBD e-liquid last?

There are many variables to consider when working out how long a CBD e-liquid bottle will last. The device used will have a massive effect on this due to variable power settings and coil resistances.

However, a reasonable estimate is that a 10ml bottle of CBD e-liquid will contain approximately 1000 puffs. This would be equivalent to 100 cigarettes worth of puffs/inhalations.

Common CBD Oil Vaping Mistakes

1. Using the wrong CBD oil: Make sure to use a CBD oil specifically designed for vaping. Regular CBD oil meant for oral consumption may contain ingredients that are not safe to inhale.

2. Not reading product instructions: Each CBD vape product may have specific instructions for use, including recommended dosage and usage guidelines. Failing to read and follow these instructions can lead to suboptimal vaping experiences or potential safety risks.

3. Neglecting device maintenance: Regularly cleaning and maintaining your vape device is essential to ensure proper functioning and prevent issues like clogging or burnt taste. Failing to maintain your device can affect the quality of your vaping experience.

4. Not storing the CBD oil properly: CBD oil should be stored in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Improper storage can degrade the quality of the oil and affect its effectiveness.

5. Vaping excessively or without moderation: While CBD is generally considered safe, it's important to use it in moderation and follow recommended dosages. Vaping excessively may lead to unwanted side effects or diminish the desired effects over time.

By avoiding these common mistakes, you can have a more enjoyable and safe vaping experience with CBD oil.
