Naturecan's Sustainable Future
At Naturecan, we track all of our products at every stage of their lifecycle - from the hemp seed being planted to the finished product being delivered to your door.
Throughout this process, it's our mission to reduce our carbon footprint and give back to nature.
But we’re only at the start of our sustainability journey. As society and technology continue to evolve, we'll be looking to improve wherever we can.

Become carbon neutral by 2022
We plant a tree for every order
At Naturecan, we understand that our health depends upon the health of the planet. That’s why we give back to nature wherever possible and plant a tree for every order placed.
We plant trees because they are essential tools for mitigating global climate change and biodiversity loss.
Despite their ecological importance, over 15 billion trees are cut down every year. We plant trees in Kenya, Madagascar and Mozambique to help reverse deforestation, and to tackle extreme poverty by supporting the livelihoods of local communities.
Eden Reforestation Project
In order to achieve our goal of planting one tree per order and helping thousands of people in extreme poverty, we have partnered with the Eden Reforestation Project.
Their “Employ to Plant” scheme gives local community members a life-changing income which enables them to buy essential items such as food, shelter, clothing and medicine.

Plastic waste in the ocean is a huge issue. We're currently researching ways to find out how we can help. More information will be provided here when we have it available to share.
We will continue to look into different ways in which our employees and customers can help. Even small changes, like switching from plastic hand wash dispensers to soap bars, can make a big difference over time.
Doing Our Bit
Coastal Clean Up
We were thrilled to team up with Mindful Chef for their amazing Coastal Clean Up initiative. Back in September, we headed to our local beach to collect as much plastic and rubbish as we could.
The event was held in partnership with Marine Conservation Society (MCS) as part of The Great British Beach Clean, and we were delighted to take part and do our bit for the planet.
Plastic is not only detrimental to marine life; it also pollutes our beaches, parks and rivers. To add to the 300 million tonnes of plastic waste produced each year, there’s been a sharp rise in single-use plastic waste during the Coronavirus pandemic, and the easing of lockdown restrictions in the UK saw large amounts of litter being left on beauty spots across the country. That’s why this year’s Coastal Clean Up was particularly important.
On the day, a whopping 1,796 people, including Naturecan, volunteered to help clean up Britain’s beaches. In total, 34,000L of rubbish - the equivalent of 68,000 plastic bottles - was collected from 347 locations.
We are planning on doing this again very soon in the future, so please keep an eye out for emails and social posts if you want to get involved.
