Introducing Naturecans Hair and Nails bundle - a carefully formulated combination of collagen peptides, bioavailable silica and vitamin C, designed with trademarked ingredients to support healthy hair and nails from within.

Each product may play a complementary role in supporting normal connective tissue structure and collagen formation. Together, they provide a convenient way to help bridge potential nutritional gaps that may affect your hair, skin and nails.

At Naturecan, we believe supplementation should be rooted in science and transparency. That’s why this bundle brings together high-quality, research-supported ingredients, with vegan-friendly options where applicable,  a clear commitment to purity and third-party testing. Our goal is simple: to educate and empower you to support your hair and nail health with confidence.

Nourish your hair and nails from the inside out with our Hair and Nails bundle.

Key Benefits

What’s Inside the Hair & Nails Bundle?

This bundle combines three complementary nutrients - collagen peptides, bioavailable silica and vitamin C, that may work synergistically to support hair skin and nails from multiple angles - structural proteins, connective tissue support and antioxidant protection.

Collagen Peptides

Our collagen peptides are hydrolysed for improved absorption. We use VERISOL®, a specific, standardised form of bioactive collagen peptides, which are broken down into smaller peptides to make them easier for the body to utilise.

Collagen provides the raw materials and key amino acids your body needs to make keratin and connective tissue proteins (10). Therefore, as your hair and nails are made up predominantly of keratin (around 90%), this suggests collagen supplementation may help support healthy hair and nail growth.

This works by supplying the amino acids required for keratin production, and supporting the surrounding connective tissues involved in their structure and growth.

Not only this, but a study conducted in 2018 found that daily intake of specific collagen peptides, including VERISOL®, may be  associated with improved skin elasticity and dermal matrix structure (1), and it is being increasingly discussed in scientific literature.

Our collagen peptides also contain copper and zinc which contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and nails (9).

Is collagen good for hair?

While collagen does not directly “grow” hair, it provides structural amino acids to the keratin that makes up around 90% of your hair, supporting the environment in which hair develops. Research has been conducted on collagen peptides and the effect on skin properties, which may indirectly benefit scalp health (2).

Bioavailable Silica

Our bioavailable silica, Bloosil™, provides a highly absorbable source of silicon, a trace mineral that plays a role in connective tissue health. Silicon is involved in collagen production and contributes to the structural integrity of skin, hair, and nails (11).

By supporting collagen synthesis and connective tissue structure, silica may help maintain hair strength and support nail health.

Vitamin C

Our Vitamin C plays an essential role in collagen formation. EFSA confirms that vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin (4).

Collagen forms part of the structural support surrounding hair follicles, and vitamin C is a required cofactor for the enzymes involved in normal collagen synthesis. Without adequate vitamin C, collagen formation is impaired.

Vitamin C also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress (5), helping to support the normal environment in which skin and hair follicles function.

Even when consuming collagen peptides, vitamin C is important for the body to effectively form and stabilise collagen (12).

The Science Behind our Hair and Nails Bundle

  1. Collagen and Dermal Structure of The Skin

Our collagen peptides contain VERISOL®, a specific, standardised form of bioactive collagen peptides.

Clinical studies on VERISOL® collagen supplementation have investigated its effects on skin elasticity, hydration and dermal structure, making it a researched form of collagen peptide rather than a generic collagen source. Healthy dermal structure contributes to the environment surrounding hair follicles (6)

  1. Silicium and Hair/Nail Strength

Silicium is implicated in collagen synthesis, hair, skin and nail health. Thanks to its bonds with collagen, elastin, keratin and proteoglycans, silicium contributes to the strength and elasticity of connective tissues.

Furthermore, research on orthosilicic acid indicates improvements in hair tensile strength and reduced brittleness of nails (7).

  1. Vitamin C and Collagen Synthesis

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation and protects cells from oxidative stress (8). This function is central to maintaining skin integrity. It is needed for the chemical steps that allow collagen to form its strong structure. Without enough vitamin C, collagen cannot be built correctly.

A 2017 study concluded that Vitamin C may also act as an antioxidant, meaning it could help protect skin cells from everyday damage caused by environmental stress (13). Together, these roles help support normal skin structure and function.

Why Supplementation Matters for Hair and Nail Health

Modern lifestyles, restrictive diets and environmental stressors can impact nutrient intake. Ageing also naturally reduces keratin and collagen production. While a balanced diet remains essential, targeted supplementation may support normal physiological processes involved in hair skin and nails health.

Our vitamins for hair and nails are designed to complement; not replace a varied diet. Ingredients such as collagen, silica and vitamin C contribute to maintaining structural integrity and normal collagen formation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What vitamins are good for hair and nails?

Vitamin C contributes to collagen formation. Silica supports connective tissue structure. Collagen peptides provide structural amino acids.

How can I improve my hair health?

Focus on balanced nutrition, adequate protein intake, stress management and micronutrient sufficiency.

How can I improve my nail health?

Maintain hydration, protect nails from trauma and ensure adequate nutrient intake.

How fast does hair grow?

On average, hair grows approximately 1 cm per month, though this varies by individual.

How can I grow my hair faster?

Growth rate is largely genetic. Proper nutrition may support normal growth cycles.

What do healthy nails look like?

Smooth texture, even colour and minimal splitting or brittleness.

Is marine or bovine collagen better for hair growth?

Both provide key amino acids. The choice depends on dietary preference and sourcing.

How do I use vitamin C for hair growth?

Vitamin C is taken orally and contributes to normal collagen formation.

How much silica should I take daily for hair growth?

Supplemental amounts used in studies vary. Always follow product guidance and consult a professional if unsure.
