Our CBD oil is a broad-spectrum distillate with non-detectable levels of THC (0.01%). It is derived exclusively from certified organic US-grown hemp plants. We never use isolates or any man-made synthetic material – only ever natural, plant-based CBD.

How is our oil Extracted? 

While there are many ways to extract CBD from hemp, they all deliver different results. Hence, Naturecan follows a three-step CBD extraction process: 

1. Supercritical CO2 Extraction

Exposing CO2 to high temperatures/pressure acts as a safe solvent that is ideal for extracting CBD without damaging the other active plant compounds. Pressurised carbon dioxide is then passed through the raw hemp material, stripping away phytochemicals, and leaving a safe-to-consume CBD concentrate. While most CBD brands stop here, we have two further steps to create our CBD Oil.

2. Chromatography

To remove any further impurities and THC, we use RotaChrom’s advanced purification system - Centrifugal Partition Chromatography (CPC), which is the most reliable method for extracting large amounts of high-quality CBD. Once purified with this more sustainable and environmentally friendly technique, we’re left with a CBD concentrate with non-detectable levels of THC. 

3. Distillation

Distillation removes any unnecessary compounds left, while retaining other minor cannabinoids which makes the CBD Oil more effective through the “Entourage Effect”. Our CBD Oil now contains 90-95% CBD and at least 5% of other minor cannabinoids such as CBG, CBC and CBDA, making it more effective than isolated CBD. We then add organic MCT oil as a carrier for our CBD concentrate, which gives the CBD Oil a slight coconut taste and increases its bioavailability.
